#Gaming NEWS! Sonic "X-treme World Adventure Galaxy-Generations"

This year's new Sonic game has finally been announced by Sega!

And it looks like a revamped Sonic X-treme (that infamous scrapped 3D Sonic game for the Sega Saturn)

Here's Sonic X-treme for comparison:

And this all-new Sonic Lost World:

And here's the trailer!

This game is set to be a Nintendo Wii U exclusive. Sonic will battle six evil aliens this time (really?...). I like the retro art style, the return of the Flickys and other old schoo animals and the Classic Badniks.

Here's the 3DS version as well:

You know what? It looks actually pretty decent.

You can expect a share of noobies and Nintendo fanboys to compare it to Mario Galaxy. (if anything, MG looked partially inspired by X-Treme to me.. and even Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast did the whole planet-thing in space first. 'nuff said)

It really does look like X-Treme. Like they finally decided to use the work developed on that long forgotten title. Though no Boobowski? That name was golden! XD

(I could do without the character itself though)

And did we really need to lose the classic Sonic foes for those.. things.

My only problem is that those Seven Deadly Sin enemies/rivals/boss characters look pretty uninspired. Then again, so did the Wisps in Colors or any of the final boss/monsters/dragons from all the recent games.. Can't Eggman be the final boss simply?? Who does their chara design? I can't believe it still is Yuji Uekawa, they look so generic and random... (I spot a girl that will get thousands of creepy fanboys and an emo character that will get his own thousands creepy fangirls...)

Side note, it also reminds me of that random/scrapped/obscure video found on Sonic Jam on the Saturn:
