#DeletedScenes - Crash Landed

So back in 2010 we almost got the Crash Bandicoot franchise back!

Developed at Renegade Kid, a videogame developer mostly being DS and 3DS "smaller" titles they're the ones behind the well received Mutant Mudds.

They were working on a Crash Bandicoot title of their own for Activision, titled Crash Landed and planned for the DS.
This game was apparently a throw back to my most beloved and favorite episode Crash Twinsanity - that is, featuring an entire open world instead of the more "on rails" platform format of previous Crash Bandicoot episodes.

The game was also supposedly going to be simultaneously released along a sister game, only known by fans as "CTR 2010" for now. (not true name, link below!)
That other game would have been a different experience, for home consoles instead, and from developer Radical Entertainment .
Then Radical was laid off, yadda yadda...

Check out this video that has only now surfaced!

(is it only me or does Crash looks a bit more like Fake Crash than anything else really?)

It's not the first time I have a "deleted scenes" post about a Crash Bandicoot game.
It seems this franchise gets scrapped a new opportunity every now and then...

*sigh*
